2. Eligibility Criteria

1) Refugee Protection Claim

Officially recognized as a refugee by the UNHCR, a foreign government, or a designated organization

Unable to safely reside in the home country due to war, persecution, or human rights violations

2) Humanitarian and Compassionate Grounds (H&C)

At risk if forced to return to the home country

Long-term residence in Canada with established social ties

3. Application Process

Refugee claims outside Canada are processed through UNHCR or designated agencies
